Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Heurelho King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Mckanze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Heurelho King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Mckanze! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mckanze swats away the attempt to clinch by King. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from King. King misses with a takedown attempt - Mckanze sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. King fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Heurelho King. That's going to take a lot out of him. King doesn't manage to clinch there - Mckanze circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mckanze drives through with a takedown into guard. Mckanze must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. King wants to stand up but Mckanze is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mckanze throwing strikes from guard but King blocks nicely. Mckanze throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mckanze throws and elbow that misses. King uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mckanze's guard. Nice move by King! Mckanze trying to strike off his back.
King wants to control from the top but Mckanze keeps moving. King stands and steps away. Mckanze gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. King wants to clinch up but Mckanze keeps it at a distance. King is looking to clinch but Mckanze is avoiding it.
King throws a right hand that Mckanze ducks under and follows up with a left that Mckanze also avoids with ease. King gets caught flat footed, as Mckanze shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mckanze won't allow King to sweep him here. Mckanze pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. King is keeping the position for now. King thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Mckanze throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mckanze throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as King works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Mckanze missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mckanze trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. King shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mckanze counters with a takedown into side control. King is trying to control Mckanze's posture but Mckanze avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mckanze working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Mckanze tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Mckanze tries to move to full mount but King actually manages to regain half guard. King is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mckanze's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mckanze's back! King thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. King wants to control but Mckanze is keeping busy. Mckanze rolls, trying to escape but King keeps control of the position.
King throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. King is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Mckanze knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Mckanze for a finish. Mckanze tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Mckanze looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mckanze is working to get back to half guard.
King looking to control but Mckanze is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Mckanze swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Mckanze regains half guard. King is keen to just control but Mckanze is a slippery customer. Mckanze wants to get back to full guard. King wants to free his trapped foot but Mckanze is holding on for dear life with his legs. Mckanze wants to improve his position but King is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King shoots and misses and Mckanze counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. King is trying to get back to full guard. Mckanze sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. King defending well though. King regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Mckanze. King manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Mckanze can't escape the position.
King misses with a head shot. Mckanze working to try and regain half guard.
King trying to control but Mckanze is having none of it. Mark Mckanze has got the better of the ground game so far. Mckanze is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mckanze tries to improve his position but instead King has taken his back! Mckanze really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. King wants to control but Mckanze is keeping busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. King is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Mckanze won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips King off his unconscious opponent!
