Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Layn Fyste !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Benjamin Walton!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walton throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Layn Fyste has been cut.
Fyste walks into a stiff left hand from Walton.
Fyste definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fyste shoots in but no luck this time.
Fyste throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Fyste throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walton's waist but Walton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fyste off to one side.
Fyste goes for a double leg but Walton avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Walton continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Layn Fyste . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Walton breaks the clinch.
A thudding body kick lands there by Walton!
Fyste misses with a takedown
and Walton counters with a slapping leg kick.
Fyste is breathing heavily.
Walton buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fyste drops his hands momentarily and Walton needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Fyste just on the top of the head. Fyste drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Fyste - he's done!
