Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Central Cat (ranked 3691 p4p, 3504 weight class) and Randy Tessin (ranked 479 p4p, 466 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Randy Tessin!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cat swings for the body but Tessin moves out of range.
Tessin tries to counter by closing the distance.
Central Cat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cat misses with a hook. Tessin ducked under it nicely.
Cat throws a jab but it's blocked by Tessin.
Tessin is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Cat throws a hook but Tessin avoids it easily.
Tessin wants to counter the offense by Cat and move into the clinch position.

Cat sends Tessin crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Cat is motioning to the referee to let Tessin up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Tessin is rocked!

It looks like Randy Tessin has been cut.
Tessin slips under a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cat rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Tessin counters by moving into the clinch.

Tessin swings wildly with an uppercut but Cat uses good head movement to avoid it.

Cat definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Tessin gets control of Cat's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tessin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Tessin is pulling down on Cat's head to control his posture.

Tessin seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Tessin lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Tessin drops back looking for a leg! Cat is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cat manages to kick Tessin off! Tessin jumps back into Cat's guard.

Tessin passes Cat's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Tessin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cat defends it well.

Tessin is working for a submission of some sort.

Tessin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cat doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tessin.

We've been informed that Tessin has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Cat knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tessin on the ground.

Tessin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cat is just riding it out for now. Tessin eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Tessin passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cat!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tessin is trying to maintain a safe position but Cat gets an underhook and turns Tessin into the cage.
Cat lands a hook that snaps the head of Tessin backwards.
Tessin is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Cat to keep the fight standing.

Cat is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Tessin gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Cat points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Tessin wakes up just in time to hear Cat thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
