Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trent Prole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan McGrew!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGrew with a lazy takedown attempt
and Prole counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

McGrew drives through with a takedown into guard.
McGrew wants to pass the guard but Prole is keeping the position.
McGrew prevents Prole from getting back to his feet.
McGrew controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Prole knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McGrew on the ground.
Prole is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McGrew is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGrew wants to pass the guard but Prole is keeping the position.

McGrew drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McGrew jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

McGrew slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prole is trying to stand up here but McGrew is controlling him well.

McGrew is trying to work for a kimura but Prole is defending well.
Prole is trying to stand back up but McGrew is controlling him
McGrew tries to pass to full mount but Prole defends it.
Prole looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

McGrew in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Prole tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from McGrew!
