Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fotos Hasapis (ranked 2782 p4p, 3905 weight class) and Olivier Aphone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aphone has chosen Enjoy the silence as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fotos Hasapis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Olivier Aphone! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hasapis avoids the body shot from Aphone.
Aphone throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Aphone misses with a few strikes there.
Hasapis appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Aphone lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Hasapis thumps Aphone with a low kick. Hasapis shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Aphone is trying to defend but Hasapis finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Hasapis missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hasapis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Aphone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Aphone looks like he's trying to stand up.
Hasapis trying to control the pace. Hasapis lands with a punch from half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Aphone wants to get back to his feet. Aphone is looking to get back to is feet but Hasapis passes into side control.
Hasapis trying to control the position but Aphone is working away. Hasapis works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hasapis creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Aphone sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Hasapis sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Aphone is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Aphone defending against the ground and pound. Aphone is pushing Hasapis's head away, looking to escape. Hasapis manages to hold on to the position though. Aphone is trying to escape the position but Hasapis is controlling the position. Aphone is trying to buck Hasapis off. Hasapis working the head with strikes. Hasapis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Aphone is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Aphone is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hasapis is controlling him well. Hasapis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hasapis staying calm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hasapis creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Aphone sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Aphone taking a bit of punishment here - Hasapis scoring with strikes. Aphone is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hasapis is controlling him well. Hasapis cracks Aphone with a big elbow. Hasapis tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hasapis has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hasapis cracks Aphone with an elbow. That is naaassty. Aphone is trying to get back to his feet. Hasapis cracks Aphone with a big elbow. Aphone tries to escape but Hasapis is in control. Aphone is trying to escape the position but Hasapis is controlling the position. Aphone wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hasapis working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Aphone is pushing Hasapis's head away, looking to escape. Hasapis manages to hold on to the position though. Aphone is looking to get back to his feet here but Hasapis is keeping cool and he's managed to take Aphone's back. Even with his hooks in, Hasapis manages to miss with strikes from the back. Hasapis lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Aphone is rocked!
It looks like Olivier Aphone has been cut. Hasapis cracks Aphone with a big right hand from the back mount! Aphone immediately covers up and the referee dives in to save him under a barrage of more strikes! Hasapis takes this one by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fotos Hasapis! A very excited looking Fotos Hasapis made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. Olivier Aphone was interviewed post fight and said 'i m done...'.
