Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Klaas Jan Tijhoff (ranked 4116 p4p, 3610 weight class) and Reece Robertson (ranked 469 p4p, 429 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Klaas Jan Tijhoff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Reece Robertson!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson scores with a jab. Tijhoff acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Robertson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tijhoff's head.
Tijhoff shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Klaas Jan Tijhoff has been cut.
Robertson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Robertson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Tijhoff takes one to the chin there.
Tijhoff definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fighters circle momentarily. Robertson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Reece Robertson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Robertson with a nice cross.
A punch combination from Robertson misses.
Robertson lands a jab to Tijhoff's midsection.
Tijhoff jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tijhoff takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Robertson lands a two punch combo.
Robertson throws a one two combo.
Tijhoff is rocked!
Tijhoff misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Robertson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Oh Tijhoff is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tijhoff throws a series of punches but Robertson moves out of range.
Tijhoff takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Robertson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Tijhoff slips a jab and a cross from Robertson.
Robertson looks to land a combination but Tijhoff avoids it well.
Robertson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Tijhoff had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Robertson rushes Tijhoff with punches - Tijhoff moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Tijhoff goes down! Robertson follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Reece Robertson!
