Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hrvoje Kovacevic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Traicho Traev!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovacevic throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Traev stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kovacevic scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Traev tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kovacevic swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kovacevic lands a slapping body shot.
A left lands for Kovacevic.
It looks like Traicho Traev has been cut.
Kovacevic digs a good body shot into Traev's ribs.
Kovacevic closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Traev! Kovacevic dives in looking to finish! Traev is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hrvoje Kovacevic!
A relieved looking Hrvoje Kovacevic thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
