The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mircea throws an off balance right hand
and Cubbedge counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Cubbedge looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mircea tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cubbedge is able to avoid easily.
Cubbedge is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Mircea throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Cubbedge counters with a right hand to the body.
The fighters circling - Mircea throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
It looked like Cubbedge wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Cubbedge's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mircea connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cubbedge scrambles back to his feet.
Mircea will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Mircea is rocked!
Cubbedge creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Mircea with a big uppercut! Mircea tries to clinch up but Cubbedge pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Mircea to the mat! Mircea covers up and Cubbedge unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
