Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ultima Koivisto (ranked 142 p4p, 189 weight class) and Satanic Panic (ranked 29 p4p, 35 weight class). Panic has chosen Freezing Moon as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ultima Koivisto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Satanic Panic!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koivisto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Panic to the mat! Panic manages to get full guard.
Koivisto trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Koivisto keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Panic's head.
Panic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Koivisto loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Panic utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Panic controls Koivisto momentarily but Koivisto frees himself.

Panic has his foot on Koivisto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Koivisto works his way back into a safe position though.

Koivisto makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Koivisto's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Panic tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Koivisto trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Koivisto throws a strike but Panic rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Panic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Koivisto swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Panic tries to move to mount but Koivisto blocks the move with his legs.
Panic is staying tight to Koivisto's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Koivisto tries to bench press Panic off him but Panic keeps the position.
Panic has control of an arm but Koivisto manages to advance to Panic's back!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Panic has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Koivisto.
Koivisto connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Panic to escape the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Panic is trying to remain composed but Koivisto is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Koivisto misses with a punch to the head.

Panic wriggles onto his back under a barage of strikes.
Koivisto throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Panic because Koivisto loaded up on that one.
Koivisto looking to land elbow strikes but Panic uses the position to regain half guard.
Koivisto throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Panic keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Panic is pressing down on Koivisto's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Panic keeps Koivisto at a distance using the push kick.

Ultima Koivisto dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Koivisto lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Panic has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Panic and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Panic is looking for the big counter here.

Koivisto looks to score with a jab to the body but Panic is just out of range.

Koivisto looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Koivisto shoots in and bounces Panic off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

A close second round but Satanic Panic will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

and Koivisto connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Koivisto takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Koivisto.
Panic cracks Koivisto with an open hand slap.

and Panic counters with a leg kick.
Koivisto misses with a jab, cross combination.
A low kick from Panic misses
and Koivisto makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ultima Koivisto is winning the standup battle so far.

Koivisto misses with a straight left.
Koivisto misses with an uppercut
and Panic counters with a stiff right hand.
Satanic Panic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Panic swings for the body but Koivisto moves out of range.
Koivisto stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Panic.

Koivisto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Panic looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Panic manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Panic is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ultima Koivisto overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Koivisto wants to improve his position but Panic is controlling well.
Koivisto is looking to get back to full guard here but Panic has managed to pass to side control instead.

Koivisto has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Panic is working away from the top position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Koivisto keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

I would just about give that final round to Satanic Panic.
I think Panic has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
