Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gorgon Patriot (ranked 228 p4p, 230 weight class) and Bardia Farrokhzad (ranked 19 p4p, 20 weight class). Farrokhzad has chosen Rastak - Hele Mali (Iranian Fisherman Folk Song) as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bardia Farrokhzad!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patriot avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Patriot gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Farrokhzad loads up on a big right hand but Patriot slips the punch.
Bardia Farrokhzad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Patriot swings widly with a right hand
and Farrokhzad counters with a straight right hand.
Patriot lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Patriot avoids the body shot from Farrokhzad.
Farrokhzad misses with a left hand
and Patriot counters with a thumping low kick.
Patriot scores with a decent looking hook.
Farrokhzad uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Patriot.
Patriot connects with the punch.
Farrokhzad is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Patriot cracks Farrokhzad with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Farrokhzad tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Patriot pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Farrokhzad is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gorgon Patriot!
Gorgon Patriot decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
