Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Randleman (ranked 5 p4p, 67 weight class) and Aaron Wolf (ranked 1 p4p, 12 weight class). Randleman comes to the cage accompanied by Bloodhound Gang - Bad Touch. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 32 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randy Randleman! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 30 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aaron Wolf! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Randleman misses with a low kick as Wolf jumps back. Wolf replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Randleman blocks it well. Wolf lands a nice leg kick that just misses Randleman's sensitive parts. Good leg kick by Randleman. A jab from Wolf misses. Randleman is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Randleman blocks a jab. Randleman is looking to counter punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wolf looks to land a right hand but Randleman moved out of range. Nice defenses there by Wolf.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolf throws a nice looking combination but Randleman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. It looked like Randleman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. A big right from Wolf misses. A low kick from Randleman misses and Wolf counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Wolf misses with the body kick and Randleman counters with a body kick. Wolf throws a lazy right hand but Randleman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Randleman has been working on his boxing with his coaches at GWad's Playpen in the buildup to the fight. Randleman throws a head kick that misses. Wolf shapes to counter with a head kick. Randleman cracks Wolf with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Aaron Wolf has been cut. Randleman connects with a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Randleman works the jab nicely. Wolf is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Randleman. Randleman dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A big left from Wolf misses. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Randleman misses with a straight left. Wolf looks for the body kick but Randleman saw that one coming. Randleman is looking to counter punch. Randleman lands a slapping body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wolf throws a body kick that misses. Randleman connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wolf's hands. Randleman misses with a hook. Randleman throws a leg kick but Wolf checks it. Wolf loads up on a big right hand but Randleman slips the punch. Randleman throws the left hand but Wolf avoids the punch easily. Wolf misses with a double jab
and Randleman counters with a right hand to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wolf throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Randleman to counter with a crisp jab. Randleman swings widly with a right hand
letting Wolf counter with a right hand. Wolf connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Randleman scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Wolf fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Randleman manages to avoid it. Wolf misses with a kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A low kick from Randleman misses and Randleman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Randy Randleman will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Aaron Wolf's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Wolf misses with a hook. Randleman ducked under it nicely. Randleman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Randleman. Randleman lands a jab. Wolf swings and misses with a shot to the body and Randleman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wolf takes a swing at Randleman's ribcage but misses. A little feinted left hand from Randleman on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Randleman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wolf. Wolf flicks out a counter leg kick but Randleman steps away. Wolf lands a nice looking kick to the body. Randleman takes a step back to recover.
That's one minute gone in the round. Randleman connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Wolf bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Wolf throws a body shot but no joy. As Wolf backs away, Randleman returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Nice shot by Randleman.
That has opened up Aaron Wolf's cut even more. Wolf throws a series of strikes that have Randleman backpedaling.
It looks like Randy Randleman has been cut. Wolf takes one to the chin there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wolf throws a good cross that connects.
Wolf throws out a loose jab but Randleman uses good head movement to avoid it. A big right from Wolf misses. Randleman lands a body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wolf fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Randleman connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Wolf throws a lazy head kick and Randleman makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wolf throws out a loose jab but Randleman uses good head movement to avoid it. Randleman staying out of range there. Wolf looks to throw a body kick letting Randleman counter with a right hand. Wolf fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Randleman. Wolf steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Randleman. Randleman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wolf. Wolf missing with a left hand there. Randleman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Randleman with a body punch. A glancing blow. Wolf thuds his right hand into Randleman's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Wolf throws a lazy head kick and Randleman counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The cut above Aaron Wolf's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Randleman dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wolf. That did some damage! Randleman lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wolf moves out of range of the body kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Randleman throws a nice outside leg kick. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Randy Randleman dominated that second round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Randleman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Wolf sizes up Randleman with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Randleman slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Randleman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wolf was well out of range. Poor timing from Randleman. Wolf goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Wolf throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Randleman looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wolf throws a right hand that misses
and Randleman counters with a stiff right hand. Randleman staying out of range there. Randleman throws a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Randleman takes one to the chin there. Randleman throws a sloppy head kick and Wolf moves out of range easily. A slapping leg kick lands for Randleman.
Wolf takes one on the button.
Aaron Wolf's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Wolf missing with a left hand there. Randleman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Wolf throws a right and a left that both miss. Randy Randleman is winning the standup battle so far. Wolf throws a sloppy head kick and Randleman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Aaron Wolf's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Randy Randleman! Randy Randleman retains his light heavyweight title! After the fight, Randy Randleman was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. Aaron Wolf was interviewed post fight and said 'Get Over Here ! '.
