Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fidelity Castro (ranked 1457 p4p, 1201 weight class) and Eric Distefano (ranked 205 p4p, 175 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Distefano avoids the body shot from Castro.
Distefano throws the kick towards the body but Castro avoids it.
It looked like Castro wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Distefano fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Castro, pushing him back against the cage.
Distefano throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Castros head.
Castro escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Distefano throws the kick towards the body but Castro avoids it.
Castro swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Castro misses with a wild body shot.

Distefano lands with an uppercut that bounces Castro off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Fidelity Castro has been cut.
Castro ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Distefano moves away.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Distefano bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Castro's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Distefano feints and then cracks Castro's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Castro down.
Distefano uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Castro.

Distefano lands a big head kick that sends Castro tumbling to the mat! Distefano takes a step backwards and waves Castro back to his feet - he wants the finish!
