Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rantang Gustus (ranked 1499 p4p, 1415 weight class) and Ankle Breaker (ranked 134 p4p, 129 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rantang Gustus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ankle Breaker! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Franklyn Lucas and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Breaker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gustus as he avoids it easily. It looked like Gustus wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Breaker drives through with a takedown into Gustus's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Gustus is looking for a triangle but Breaker pushes his legs off easily.
Gustus looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Breaker looking to pass the guard. Gustus looking to control.
Breaker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gustus swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gustus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Breaker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gustus working a defensive guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Breaker seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Gustus wants to sweep here but Breaker controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Breaker passes easily into side control. Nice work. Breaker landing strikes. Gustus tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Breaker wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Breaker looks up at the clock and then as Gustus takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Breaker smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Gustus is looking for a sweep. Gustus wants to control but Breaker postures up. Gustus tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Breaker wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Breaker is looking to take a break and control but Gustus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Breaker goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Gustus has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Breaker but great work by Gustus. Gustus throws an elbow but Breaker slips to the side and avoids it well. Gustus trying to control the position but Breaker is working away. Breaker is trying to improve his position. Gustus wants to take a breather but Breaker manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Gustus. Breaker is looking for a triangle but Gustus pushes his legs off easily.

Breaker looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Gustus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Breaker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gustus has managed to get both his arms back between Breaker's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breaker keeping moving, preventing Gustus from controlling successfully. Gustus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Breaker is keeping the position for now. Breaker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gustus looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Gustus is stalling in the full guard. Breaker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gustus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gustus avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Breaker is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Breaker not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gustus throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Breaker works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gustus working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Breaker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ankle Breaker dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Breaker ducks under a wild hook from Gustus. Ankle Breaker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gustus closes the distance and pushes Breaker back into the cage. Breaker wants to take the fight to the mat but Gustus manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Breaker tries to stall but Gustus uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Gustus gets control of Breaker's arms and successfully pulls guard. Gustus will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Breaker preventing the sweep. Gustus is trying to control the position but Breaker postures up. Breaker scores with a decent looking elbow strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Breaker wants to control from the top but Gustus keeps moving. Gustus looking for a sweep. Not yet Gustus, not yet. Gustus is trying to control the position but Breaker postures up. Gustus utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gustus is trying to keep Breaker in close.
Breaker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gustus swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gustus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Breaker passes easily into side control. Nice work. Breaker has an Americana. Gustus didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Breaker is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Breaker hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ankle Breaker! Jumping up and down and very excited, Ankle Breaker waved his t-shirt featuring 30th Century Beer Store's logo in front of the cameras.
