Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tammy Cole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dana Helwani!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helwani tries to clinch up.
Cole tries to bum rush Helwani with a series of wild strikes but Helwani uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cole looks to land a combination but Helwani avoids it well.
Cole throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Helwani avoids a punch combination nicely.
Helwani doesn't manage to clinch there - Cole circles away.
Helwani throws a head kick that misses.
Helwani tries to bum rush Cole with a series of wild strikes but Cole uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Oooooh!!! Cole has knocked Helwani down with a huge combo! Cole steps away and waves a wobbly Helwani back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Dana Helwani has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cole misses with the combination.
Helwani wants to slow Cole down by chopping away at his legs.
Cole keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Helwani throws a series of punches but Cole moves out of range.
A combination from Cole does no damage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Helwani has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Cole closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Helwani! Cole dives in looking to finish! Helwani is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
