Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Read (ranked 2157 p4p, 2523 weight class) and Makon James (ranked 301 p4p, 352 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Leonard Read!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Makon James!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Read closes the distance and pushes James back into the cage.
James wants to break free but Read has control.
Read tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. James just stands there and leans against the cage.
James wants to get back to striking at distance but Read won't allow it.
James wants to break the clinch but can't.
James wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Read has him pressed against the cage.
James misses with the head strike.
The referee calls for James to work.
Read pulls guard successfully.
Read definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
James looking to pass the guard.
Read is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and James defends well.
Read is looking for a triangle but James pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James got a little sloppy there for a moment and Read has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, James has managed to get both his arms back between Read's legs - danger averted.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Read is trying to control the position from the bottom.
James looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Read looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but James is defending well. Read quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! James has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Read celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
