Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Derek Hui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dolly Parton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parton is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton. Derek Hui had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Parton as Hui shoots in.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Parton shoots in and bounces Hui off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Parton trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Parton postures up and lands a big shot to Hui's brow.
Parton trying to control the position from guard on top but Hui is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Parton drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hui stops Parton from passing to mount.

Parton wants to take a breather but Hui manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Parton.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Parton throws a strike but Hui rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hui wants to stand but Parton is controlling his posture from full guard.
Parton is striking but Hui is not phased and passes to half guard.

Dolly Parton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hui lands a head kick. Parton smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Hui shoots in but Parton avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Parton misses with a takedown attempt - Hui sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Parton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hui as he jumps to the side.

Parton closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Parton wants to control but Hui is keeping him busy.
Parton postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hui regains half guard there - taking advantage of Parton's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Parton takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
