The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ziegler connects with a body shot that sends Lamez's belly button to the back.
Lamez throws a big shot that misses.
Lamez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Lamez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ziegler steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lamez.
Ziegler lands a head kick. Lamez smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Lamez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ziegler on the side of the head.
Ziegler throws a big shot that misses.
Lamez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lamez! But no joy.
Ziegler dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

and Ziegler counters with a nice right hand that sends Lamez toppling to the canvas! Lamez scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Ziegler finish him?!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lamez loads up on a big right hand but Ziegler slips the punch.
Lamez is still on wobbly legs! Can Ziegler finish him?
Ziegler drops Lamez with a straight right hand, right on the button! Ziegler follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
