Kaori is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by GOZEN. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Grant Alyoshin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alyoshin tried to score with a low kick but Kaori checks it.
Alyoshin slips a straight right by Kaori.
Alyoshin tries to keep at a distance but Kaori has taken the fight into the clinch.

I was talking to Alyoshin's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Kaori swings wildly with an uppercut but Alyoshin uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Alyoshin throws a big uppercut that drops Kaori! More strikes from Alyoshin and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Kaori lies dazed against the cage as Alyoshin celebrates with his cornermen!
