Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jorge Rojas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stefano Del Monte!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Monte connects with a body shot that sends Rojas's belly button to the back.
Del Monte swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rojas tried to counter with a leg kick but Del Monte avoided it.
Rojas takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Rojas.
Del Monte is trying to buck Rojas off.
Rojas passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Del Monte!
Del Monte can't escape the position.
Del Monte prevents Rojas from taking his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Del Monte is looking to get to half guard.

Rojas is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Del Monte can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Del Monte defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Rojas's arms.
Rojas has the hooks in. Del Monte is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Rojas has a closed guard, preventing Del Monte from standing up.

Rojas is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Del Monte frees his head nicely. Oh but Rojas has switched to an armbar! Del Monte is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
