Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jaimie Hopson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Striker Jackson! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from Jackson. Hopson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Jackson misses with a hook. Hopson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jackson throws a leg kick but Hopson sees it coming and checks it nicely. It looked like Hopson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Striker Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Jackson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hopson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Jackson misses with a lunging right hand
