Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dino Rider (ranked 4236 p4p, 4348 weight class) and Flynn Knightley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dino Rider! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Flynn Knightley! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rider tries to bum rush Knightley with a series of wild strikes but Knightley uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rider misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Knightley is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Knightley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Knightley sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Rider is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Knightley scores with punches from side control. Rider knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Knightley on the ground. Rider seems a little lost for a moment, as Knightley dominates the positioning. Rider taking punishment in the form of punches.
Knightley cracks Rider with a big elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A lull in the action here as Knightley stalls from top position. Knightley cracks Rider with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knightley working the ground and pound. Knightley slows the pace down. Knightley looks up at the clock and then as Rider takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Knightley smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Knightley is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Rider will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. An elbow from Knightley crashes against the mat.
Rider takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Knightley tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Rider is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Knightley landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Knightley looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Knightley controls the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Crunch! Rider slams his shin into Knightley's torso.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rider throws a head kick but Knightley moves out of range.
Knightley drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rider defends it well. Knightley gets a double leg takedown into Rider's guard. Knightley distracts Rider with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Knightley is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Knightley lands a couple of decent looking shots. Knightley stays in close to Rider's body and controls the position. Knightley landing some decent shots from guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knightley postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Knightley lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Knightley chips away with some ground and pound. Knightley sitting in guard here, content to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rider fails to land with a series of punches.
Rider is breathing heavily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A nice inside leg kick there by Rider. That's going to slow Knightley down. Knightley avoids the head kick by Rider.
Knightley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Knightley has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Flynn Knightley dominated that round. That's time! Rider's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Rider enables Knightley to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rider manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Rider wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Knightley manages to pass to side control. Rider taking some punishment here, with Knightley in his half guard. Knightley is nestled in close to Rider, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Knightley lands a nice short elbow. Rider is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Knightley seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knightley is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Rider tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Knightley manages to move to mount!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Knightley landing punches. Knightley punishing his opponent with strikes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Knightley tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Knightley is working for a guillotine from mount but Rider frees his head quite easily.
Knightley has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Knightley with the ground and pound from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knightley raining down hammerfists from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Knightley dominating with strikes here. Rider in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Knightley pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Knightley with a couple of short strikes. Knightley raining down hammerfists from mount. Knightley landing strikes from the mount and Rider is in trouble! Knightley scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knightley landing shots from mount. Knightley is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rider can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Knightley takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Knightley cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Knightley postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rider looks a forlorn figure.

Flynn Knightley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Rider throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Knightley gets the takedown into side control. Knightley is staying tight to Rider's torso, preventing him from escaping. Knightley working the ground and pound from side control. Rider takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Knightley creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Knightley in side control lands a decent elbow. Knightley happy to just control the position for now. Rider on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Knightley takes a little break here. Rider wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Knightley is continuing to stall.

The adventures of Knightley the control monster continue. Boring. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Knightley with a nice head shot there.
And that's the end of the fight! Flynn Knightley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Knightley winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
