Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between jeff lewbowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Biilly Bankhead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). lewbowski comes to the cage accompanied by Gipsy kings - hotel california. Biilly Bankhead will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bankhead throws a sloppy head kick and lewbowski moves out of range easily.
Bankhead shoots in looking for a takedown. lewbowski tries to sprawl out of it but Bankhead keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. lewbowski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
lewbowski wants to clinch up but Bankhead keeps it at a distance.
lewbowski is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bankhead.
Bankhead closes this distance looking for a takedown but lewbowski circles away.
Nice sprawl there from lewbowski as Bankhead shoots in.
jeff lewbowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Biilly Bankhead.

Biilly Bankhead seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bankhead should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Bankhead tries to hold on but lewbowski pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bankhead is looking to improve his position but lewbowski isn't that keen on the idea.
Bankhead is in a horrible position here. lewbowski smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Bankhead really doesn't want to stay on the ground with lewbowski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
lewbowski has hold of Bankhead's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bankhead manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

lewbowski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

lewbowski has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Bankhead has eaten all the pies!

Bankhead tries to buck lewbowski off but he can't manage it.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with lewbowski in particular looking to stall.

lewbowski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no lewbowski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bankhead is breathing heavily.
Bankhead is pushing lewbowski's head away, looking to escape. lewbowski manages to hold on to the position though.
Bankhead is working to avoid the ground and pound but lewbowski connects with a decent elbow.

lewbowski has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bankhead is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. lewbowski yanks on the arm and Bankhead is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by lewbowski.
