Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mateo Sierrra (ranked 4468 p4p, 4463 weight class) and Aidan Prince (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prince throws a big shot that misses.
Nice straight punches there by Sierrra. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sierrra.
Sierrra lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Sierrra gets tackled into the cage by Prince. Prince maintains the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sierrra.

Prince drags the fight down to the ground.
Prince is looking to stand up but Sierrra isn't so interested in that idea.
Prince is pulling down on Sierrra's head to control his posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Prince manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sierrra manages to get himself to full guard.

It looks like Prince might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Sierrra's corner calls for a 1-2. Sierrra obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Prince looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Sierrra is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Mateo Sierrra is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sierrra swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Prince.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Prince closes the distance and pushes Sierrra back into the cage.
Prince fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Come on Prince - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sierrra.
Prince dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Prince has Sierrra pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Prince pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sierrra tumbling to the mat - Prince dives into Sierrra's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Prince is pushing down on Sierrra's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sierrra is fighting to maintain full guard but Prince has managed to sneak the leg through.
Prince takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Let's hope that Prince has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Prince connects with a nice short shot to Sierrra's temple.

Prince maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Sierrra could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Prince has cracked it and Sierrra is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Prince!
