Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vlad DaMan (ranked 2403 p4p, 2905 weight class) and Tony Halme (ranked 257 p4p, 308 weight class). Halme is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Katri Helena-Katson autiota hiekkarantaa. Tony Halme will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tony Halme!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halme tries to clinch but fails miserably
and DaMan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

DaMan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Halme sprawls well initially but DaMan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

DaMan tries to score a body lock takedown but Halme shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

DaMan swats away the attempt to clinch by Halme.
The fight stays on the outside here - Halme looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Halme tries to clinch up but DaMan circles away and keeps his distance.

I would just about give that final round to Tony Halme.
I think Halme has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
