Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Julian Bashir (ranked 1671 p4p, 1190 weight class) and Omar Brown (ranked 107 p4p, 82 weight class). Bashir's entrance music is Exodus - The Toxic Waltz. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julian Bashir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Omar Brown!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bashir slips under a jab.
Bashir attempts a counter takedown but Brown avoids it well and moves away.
Brown walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Omar Brown has been cut.
Bashir walks into a left hand.
Brown throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bashir throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Brown counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bashir takes a swing at Brown's ribcage but misses.
Brown displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bashir throws out the jab.
Bashir definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Bashir counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Brown!

Bashir has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Brown tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
