Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reece Robertson (ranked 2778 p4p, 3130 weight class) and Malus Traeger (ranked 348 p4p, 386 weight class). The key to victory for Reece Robertson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Reece Robertson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Malus Traeger!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Traeger lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Robertson at a distance.
Traeger gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Traeger takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Traeger wants to clinch.
Traeger keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Robertson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Traeger swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Robertson tries to bum rush Traeger with a series of wild strikes but Traeger uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Horrible takedown attempt by Traeger or perhaps it was just good defense by Robertson, which made it look bad.
Traeger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Traeger slips a jab and a cross from Robertson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Traeger shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Robertson as he avoids it easily.
It looked like Robertson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Reece Robertson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Malus Traeger.

Robertson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Traeger moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A nice combination there by Robertson.

Robertson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Traeger throws a looping overhand right but Robertson ducks down to avoid it.

Robertson throws a right hand that Traeger ducks under and follows up with a left that Traeger also avoids with ease.

Robertson cracks Traeger with an uppercut from hell and Traeger crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Robertson's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Traeger with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Robertson to score with a decent uppercut.

Traeger swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Traeger manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Robertson on his heels. He'll look to pass Robertson's guard now, I'm sure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Traeger is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Traeger throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Robertson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Traeger sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Robertson's guard.

Traeger is trying to control the action in half guard but Robertson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Robertson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Traeger on the ground.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Traeger goes for a double leg but Robertson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Robertson continues to drive forward.
