Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robert Waldlow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Darren Jauncey!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waldlow misses with a kick to the body.
Waldlow throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Jauncey.
Waldlow moves in looking to clinch but Jauncey pushes him off.
Jauncey takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Waldlow pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Waldlow clobbers Jauncey with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Waldlow really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd cheers as Jauncey lands an impressive looking overhand right. Waldlow doesn't seem phased though.
Waldlow throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Jauncey stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Waldlow follows into mount!
Jauncey is rocked!
It looks like Darren Jauncey has been cut.
Jauncey squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Jauncey is still in real trouble! Can Waldlow finish him?
Waldlow lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Jauncey! Waldlow sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Jauncey and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
