Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scirea misses with an uppercut.
Gaetano Scirea seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scirea lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Dornes fails with the takedown
and Scirea counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Scirea takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Dornes takes a swing at Scirea's ribcage but misses.
Dornes keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Scirea.
Dornes's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Scirea connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dornes scrambles back to his feet.
A lazy body kick from Dornes
and Scirea counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Scirea takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Dornes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Scirea manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dornes fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice defenses there by Dornes.
Scirea connects with a looping right hand.
A low kick from Dornes is predictable there
and Scirea connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Scirea throws a series of punches but Dornes moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A telegraphed right hand from Scirea misses the target.
Scirea scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Dornes tries to work over Scirea's front leg with a kick but Scirea checks it.
Scirea misses with a looping left.
Scirea is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dornes.
Dornes dives in and grabs Scirea's left leg, looking for a takedown. Scirea pushes down on Dornes's head and hops out.
Gaetano Scirea has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viktor Dornes.

Scirea clinches.

Dornes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Scirea pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dornes back to the cage. Scirea follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

and Scirea counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dornes drops his hands momentarily and Scirea takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Dornes is rocked!
Dornes tries for a takedown but Scirea sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dornes is still on wobbly legs! Can Scirea finish him?
Dornes looks winded!
Dornes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Scirea throws out the jab.
Dornes seems to have recovered his senses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Scirea connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dornes's hands.

Oooooh!!! Scirea has knocked Dornes down with a huge combo! Scirea steps away and waves a wobbly Dornes back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Scirea lands with a hook. Dornes tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Dornes bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Scirea throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dornes on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Scirea lands a glancing blow to the side of Dornes's head.
Dornes has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Scirea finds it's way round the side to connect with Dornes's head.

Scirea feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dornes sprawling to the canvas! Dornes rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Scirea finish him?!
Scirea lands with an uppercut that bounces Dornes off the cage and back into range.

Scirea throws a monster overhand right that drops Dornes! Scirea follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
