Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Wolecki (ranked 3873 p4p, 5630 weight class) and Jack Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howard has chosen Copperhead Road - Steve Earle as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Howard!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard misses with a lunging right hand
and Wolecki counters with a single leg into guard. Howard didn't expect that.

and Wolecki counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Howard!

Wolecki swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Howard is now in Wolecki's guard. A big mistake from Wolecki there, giving up the dominant position!

Howard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wolecki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Howard working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wolecki doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wolecki manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wolecki is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Howard is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

That's time! Wolecki's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Howard might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
