Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Falcon (ranked 1655 p4p, 1353 weight class) and Alexei Brovarnik (ranked 227 p4p, 184 weight class). Falcon comes to the cage accompanied by O Retrô Ativo - Heróis do Status Quo. Brovarnik has chosen Colours - DJ Mind X as his entrance music. Jack Falcon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Falcon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alexei Brovarnik! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brovarnik slips a jab and a cross from Falcon.
A head kick misses from Brovarnik. Brovarnik is looking to clinch but Falcon is avoiding it.
Falcon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Falcon takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Jack Falcon has been cut. Brovarnik throws an overhand right that lands on Falcon's shoulder, as Falcon tries to avoid the shot. Falcon moves out of range of the strikes. Falcon misses with a series of wild punches.
Brovarnik counters with a body kick. Brovarnik with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Falcon looks to throw the jab but Brovarnik is out of range. Falcon misses with a jab, cross combination.
Falcon avoids the head kick by Brovarnik.
Brovarnik moves out of range as Falcon strikes. Falcon catches Brovarnik napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Brovarnik to the canvas!
This has been an exciting period of action! Falcon content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Falcon landing with the ground and pound.
Brovarnik is rocked! Falcon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Brovarnik working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Falcon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Falcon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Falcon loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Brovarnik working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Falcon has passed into half guard!

Falcon wants to control but Brovarnik is keeping him busy. Brovarnik makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Brovarnik. Falcon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brovarnik works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brovarnik looking for a guillotine here but Falcon defends easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Brovarnik escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. That's three minutes gone in the round. Falcon distracts Brovarnik with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Brovarnik escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Falcon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Falcon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Falcon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Brovarnik is looking for a triangle but Falcon pushes his legs off easily.
Falcon postures up and lands a big shot to Brovarnik's brow. Brovarnik has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Falcon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Brovarnik is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Falcon is in close to Brovarnik's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Falcon postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Brovarnik is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Brovarnik is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Falcon is aware though and is defending well. Brovarnik has his foot on Falcon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Falcon works his way back into a safe position though. Falcon lands a couple of elbows. Falcon looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Falcon throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brovarnik is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Falcon is aware though and is defending well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Falcon dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jack Falcon's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Falcon misses with a looping right. A swing and a miss from Falcon. Falcon lands a big shot that drops Brovarnik! Can he finish him?
Brovarnik is still in real trouble! Can Falcon finish him? Falcon landing some decent shots from guard. Falcon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jack Falcon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Falcon continues to stall. Brovarnik has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Falcon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Falcon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Brovarnik seems to have recovered his senses. Brovarnik has his foot on Falcon's thigh. Falcon is looking to defend but Brovarnik has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Falcon! Brovarnik pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Falcon taps out and this one is all over!
