Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Wittmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diem Suari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michael Wittmann! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Diem Suari! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wittmann throws a right and a left that Suari avoids nicely. Wittmann shoots in looking for a takedown. Suari tries to sprawl out of it but Wittmann keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Suari manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Wittmann misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Suari fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wittmann shoots in and drives through. Suari sprawls well. Suari tries to clinch but Wittmann moves out of range. Wittmann gets in close and instigates a clinch. Suari's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wittmann closes the distance and clinches up with Suari, looking for a takedown. Wittmann pushes Suari against the cage but Suari circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Wittmann. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wittmann closes the distance and clinches. Suari misses with an elbow strike.
Suari throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Wittmann blocks it with crossed arms. Wittmann jumps into guard, dragging Suari to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wittmann is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suari trying to stand up but can't free himself from Wittmann's guard. Wittmann wants to sweep here but Suari controlling him for the moment. Wittmann has a closed guard, preventing Suari from standing up. Wittmann escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Suari gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wittmann working for a triangle but Suari defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Suari stopping the sweep attempt from Wittmann.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wittmann tries to clinch up but Suari circles away and keeps his distance. Michael Wittmann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wittmann dives in and grabs Suari's left leg, looking for a takedown. Suari pushes down on Wittmann's head and hops out. Wittmann misses with a double jab.
Wittmann has a takedown stuffed. Diem Suari is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Suari throws a push kick but Wittmann slaps the foot to one side. Wittmann on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Suari. Suari obviously looking to wear him down.
Wittmann is breathing heavily. Wittmann closes the distance and clinches up with Suari, looking for a takedown. Wittmann pushes Suari against the cage but Suari circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Suari dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Wittmann swats away the attempt to clinch by Suari. Wittmann drops his hands momentarily and Suari needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Wittmann just on the top of the head. Wittmann drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Wittmann - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Diem Suari!
