The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Akerfeldt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Akerfeldt shoots in but no luck this time.

Akerfeldt is wriggling around trying to escape.
Majere wants to control the pace but Akerfeldt is squirming around nicely.

Majere's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Majere seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Akerfeldt for as long as he can get away with.
Akerfeldt is wriggling around trying to escape.

Majere is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Akerfeldt is surviving well by controlling Majere's body position as best he can.

Akerfeldt has left one of his arms exposed and Majere doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Akerfeldt screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
