The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paris avoids the body shot from Galanis.
Paris feints and then cracks Galanis's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Galanis down.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Galanis!

It looks like Marco Paris has been cut.

and Paris lands a stunning uppercut that sends Galanis to the mat!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Paris lands a big elbow - Galanis is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Paris!
