The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Nickal tries to sprawl but Borgia drives through with a takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Nickal (0) vs (2) Borgia Nickal wants to improve his position but Borgia is controlling well.

Nickal takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Nickal pushes Borgia away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
