Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gaetano Scirea!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gurgel has a takedown stuffed.
Scirea misses with a hook. Gurgel ducked under it nicely.
Scirea cracks a nice hook into Gurgel's ribs.
Gurgel feints and as Scirea raises his hands in defense, Gurgel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gurgel is pushing down on Scirea's leg trying to pass to half guard. Scirea is fighting to maintain full guard but Gurgel has managed to sneak the leg through.
Scirea is trying to stand up here but Gurgel is controlling him well.
Gurgel is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Scirea can do anything to dispel that myth.
Gurgel works his way to his opponent's back.
Scirea trying to control the hands but Gurgel won't let him.
Gurgel trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Scirea doesn't escape.

Gurgel's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Gurgel sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Scirea taps out!
