Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Martin Burns (ranked 3282 p4p, 3684 weight class) and Frank Miller (ranked 417 p4p, 453 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Frank Miller! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Burns misses with a head kick.
Miller blocks a head kick by Burns.
Nice takedown defense from Miller. No joy for Burns on that attempt. Burns tries for a takedown but Miller circles away easily and Miller cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Burns fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Miller throws the left hand but Burns avoids the punch easily. Burns changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miller tries to avoid it but Burns manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miller to the ground. Miller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Miller looks like he wants to counter punch here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martin Burns. That's going to take a lot out of him. Burns is looking to clinch. Miller swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Burns dives in and grabs Miller's left leg, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes down on Burns's head and hops out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burns fails to land the takedown. It seemed like Miller was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Burns misses with a takedown and Miller cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Miller scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Miller throws a big shot that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns throws a jab when Miller was well out of range. Burns shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Miller manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Miller keeping full guard, as Burns tries to pass. Miller wants to sweep here but Burns controlling him for the moment. Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Burns. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Burns is pushing down on Miller's leg trying to pass to half guard. Miller is fighting to maintain full guard but Burns has managed to sneak the leg through. Burns wants to lay and pray for a moment but Miller keeps working. Burns wants to work for an arm triangle but Miller is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Burns slows the pace down in half guard. Miller told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burns stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Miller throws a lazy right hand but Burns sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Miller displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Burns. Miller throws out a counter right but Burns avoids it with no problem. Miller lands a slapping body shot.
Martin Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller slaps away a takedown attempt from Burns, before circling back to the center of the mat. Burns avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Miller misses the shot to the body. Burns shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Miller as he avoids it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller misses with a double jab.
Burns tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Miller defends well and Burns ends up having to push Miller into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Burns wants the takedown. Miller is fighting it off but Burns persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Miller's guard against the cage. Burns stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miller swivels though and keeps the full guard. Burns has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Burns is controlling him. Burns passes Miller's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Burns looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burns is working for a submission of some sort.
Burns tries to pass the half guard into mount. Miller knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Burns is trying to control the action in half guard but Miller is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Burns controlling the pace. Burns decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Frank Miller will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Miller blocks a head kick by Burns.
Burns takes the fight into the clinch. Burns pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Burns looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Miller throws out a loose jab but Burns uses good head movement to avoid it. Miller slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Burns shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Miller counter with a right hand. Miller throws a good cross that connects.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller avoids the head kick by Burns.
Burns shoots in and drives through. Miller sprawls well. Martin Burns is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Burns shoots in for a double leg but Miller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Miller flicks out a counter leg kick but Burns steps away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martin Burns. That's going to take a lot out of him. Miller gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Burns looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns forces his way into half guard. Burns is taking a breather. Miller says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Miller is in trouble now - Burns has advanced to mount! Miller is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Burns looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burns controlling the pace for now. Burns goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Miller is on top in guard.
Burns has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Burns controls Miller momentarily but Miller frees himself. Burns wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burns is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Miller has his hands clasped together but Burns extends and breaks Miller's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Burns.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Martin Burns!
