Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Akahoshi Hisashi (ranked 547 p4p, 634 weight class) and Velha Maldita (ranked 71 p4p, 86 weight class). Hisashi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Feng Shui. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Velha Maldita!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hisashi tries to bum rush Maldita with a series of wild strikes but Maldita uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hisashi rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Maldita counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hisashi misses with a two punch combination.
Maldita lands a left and a right that send Hisashi crashing to the mat, dazed. Maldita thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Maldita displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hisashi.
A countering left hand to the body from Maldita misses.
Maldita scores with a sloppy right hand. Hisashi should have avoided that one.

Maldita drops Hisashi with a straight right hand, right on the button! Maldita follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
