The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dayton tries to keep at a distance but Mostakaev has taken the fight into the clinch.
Mostakaev is trying to pull guard but Dayton turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Mostakaev successfully pulls guard.
Mostakaev has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Dayton lands a couple of elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dayton seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Dayton postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
