Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Skog (ranked 4461 p4p, 25729 weight class) and John Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Gunnar Skog has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gunnar Skog!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Snake!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snake shoots for a double leg takedown but Skog sprawls well. He's pushed Snake's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A little feinted left hand from Skog on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Snake slips under a jab.
Nice defenses there by Snake.

Snake closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Snake is working for takedown but Skog is calmly controlling the position for now.
Snake throws a head punch that misses.
Snake goes for a takedown in the clinch but Skog prevents it.

Snake misses with a takedown attempt - Skog sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Skog was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
