Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Grave (ranked 4384 p4p, 4302 weight class) and Nero Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Grave!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nero Angelo!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angelo has managed to clinch.
Angelo gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Angelo content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Angelo moves into full mount! Grave won't be happy about that!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Angelo won't let Grave get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Angelo throws some wild stikes that Grave manages to avoid easily.

Angelo shoots in and drives through. Grave sprawls well.
Grave gets tackled into the cage by Angelo. Angelo maintains the clinch.

Angelo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Grave defends it nicely.

Angelo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nero Angelo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Angelo rushes Grave and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Grave manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Angelo keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Grave misses with a hook to the ribs.
Angelo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Grave pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jack Grave has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nero Angelo.
Grave connects with a crisp jab.

Grave defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Angelo.

Angelo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Grave looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Nero Angelo dominated that round.
That's time! Grave's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Angelo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
It looks like Nero Angelo has been cut.
Grave lands with a cross.
Angelo is rocked!
Angelo thuds a left hand into Grave's body.
Angelo clinches.
Angelo is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Grave is trying to maintain a safe position but Angelo gets an underhook and turns Grave into the cage.
Angelo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Grave just stands there and leans against the cage.
Angelo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Angelo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Grave was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Angelo on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Nero Angelo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Angelo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Grave did well to prevent Angelo getting side control.
Angelo is breathing heavily.
Angelo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Angelo is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Angelo stands up out of the half guard.
Angelo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Grave counters with a left and a right that stings Angelo.

Grave swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Grave defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Angelo.
Grave ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Angelo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Grave's jab looks to have found its range, popping Angelo under the eye.
Angelo is still on wobbly legs! Can Grave finish him?
Grave connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Angelo gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Grave gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
