Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gothic Line!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alborz Mumu!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Line lands with a good body shot.
Mumu throws a leg kick
and Mumu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Alborz Mumu has been cut.
A big right from Line misses.
Line looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Mumu looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Mumu throws a leg kick but Line sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Line fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mumu manages to avoid it.
Line looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mumu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Line throws out the jab.
Mumu on the wrong end of a nice hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Line looks to throw the jab but Mumu is out of range.
Line misses with a lunging right hand
letting Mumu counter with a right hand.
Mumu keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Line throws a body kick that misses
and Mumu counters with a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mumu tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Line throws a counter high kick but Mumu was just alert enough to avoid it.
Mumu thuds his shin into the meat of Line's side.
Mumu scores with a hook.
Line fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mumu manages to avoid it.
Mumu sends Line crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Mumu is motioning to the referee to let Line up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Line gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Mumu counters with a huge right that knocks Line out cold! Mumu is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alborz Mumu!
An out of breath Alborz Mumu thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
