Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chance Mora (ranked 4403 p4p, 4375 weight class) and Alex MacAtilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chance Mora!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex MacAtilla!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Franklyn Lucas and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mora fails with an attempt to clinch.
MacAtilla cracks a nice hook into Mora's ribs.
MacAtilla defending well as Mora loads up on a big left hand.
MacAtilla scores with a jab. Mora acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
MacAtilla moves in looking to clinch but Mora pushes him off.
Mora closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. MacAtilla quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mora lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Mora is taking a breather. MacAtilla says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Mora throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Mora lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

MacAtilla is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mora winds up and cracks MacAtilla with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
MacAtilla is still in real trouble! Can Mora finish him?
Mora takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Mora has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mora is nestled in close to MacAtilla, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Mora lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked MacAtilla! More strikes land and this one is all over! Mora jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chance Mora!
Chance Mora was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
