Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Hall (ranked 1370 p4p, 1496 weight class) and Alex Munhoz (ranked 68 p4p, 73 weight class). Hall comes to the cage accompanied by Andy Shauf: The Magician. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alex Munhoz!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munhoz misses with a takedown

and Hall counters with a nice double leg into side control. Munhoz won't be happy with that.
Munhoz connects with an elbow from the bottom.

Munhoz is trying to control but can't.
Munhoz is staying active underneath Hall, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hall is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Munhoz gets his way!

That was a close second round but I would say that Robbie Hall will probably get the nod.
