The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willson wants to clinch.
Hopkins darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
We've been told by Hopkins's head coaches at Primal Concrete Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Hopkins digs a good body shot into Willson's ribs.
Willson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hopkins pinned against the cage. Hopkins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hopkins scores with a nice strike.

Hopkins cracks Willson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hopkins has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Willson to stand back up!

Willson throws a lazy head kick
and Hopkins counters with a big left hand that crumples Willson! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
