Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Faster Adamz (ranked 4326 p4p, 4414 weight class) and Opaltooth Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 445 weight class). Opaltooth Patterson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Faster Adamz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Opaltooth Patterson!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adamz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Patterson darts in and clinches Adamz up against the cage.

Patterson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Adamz can't fight it off and eventually Patterson manages to take the fight to the floor. Adamz looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Adamz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Patterson stays in close to Adamz's body and controls the position.
Adamz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Adamz has his foot on Patterson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Patterson works his way back into a safe position though.

Patterson stands up from Adamz's guard - Patterson perhaps looking for a knockout.

Patterson instigates a clinch.
Adamz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Patterson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Patterson prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Faster Adamz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Patterson manages to pull guard.
Adamz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Patterson is keeping the position for now.

Patterson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Adamz's guard.

Adamz working for a triangle but Patterson defends it easily.
Adamz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Adamz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Patterson controls the pace.
Patterson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Adamz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Patterson stands up over Adamz, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Patterson controls from within his opponent's guard.

Patterson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Adamz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Patterson has managed to get both his arms back between Adamz's legs - danger averted.
Patterson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Adamz's head.

Adamz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Patterson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Patterson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adamz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Patterson gets to his feet - Adamz follows without any prompting.
Patterson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Patterson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Patterson lands with a light punch inside.

Patterson pulls guard effortlessly.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Patterson holds on and takes a little breather.
Adamz stopping the sweep attempt from Patterson.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Opaltooth Patterson dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Patterson lands a big head kick that sends Adamz to the canvas! Patterson follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
