Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Suydas Kimsh (ranked 2730 p4p, 5893 weight class) and Rock Lee (ranked 342 p4p, 507 weight class). Rock Lee will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Suydas Kimsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rock Lee!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick from Lee.
Kimsh fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lee turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kimsh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lee is fending him off so far but Kimsh persists. Nope, Lee circles away and we're back to standing.

Kimsh is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lee's half guard.
Kimsh prevents Lee from improving his position.
Kimsh takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Kimsh is trying to work for a kimura but Lee is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kimsh is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lee is just riding it out for now. Kimsh eventually gives up the hold.
Kimsh wants to free his trapped foot but Lee is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Lee utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kimsh postures up.
Lee has Kimsh pulled in close to control his posture.
Kimsh looking to sit in guard and control but Lee gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Kimsh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kimsh has a closed guard, preventing Lee from standing up.

Kimsh is working an open guard so Lee takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Lee scores with a shot to the body.
Lee sizes up Kimsh with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Kimsh misses with a takedown
and Lee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Suydas Kimsh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee lands a leg kick that knocks Kimsh off balance momentarily.

Kimsh feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lee has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Kimsh is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Lee bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Kimsh ducks right into an uppercut from Lee.
Lee scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kimsh tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lee swivels and escapes.

Kimsh has his takedown stuffed
and Lee counters with a nice body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lee drops Kimsh with a straight right hand, right on the button! Lee follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rock Lee!
