Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Sidorov (ranked 458 p4p, 3899 weight class) and Darren Hart (ranked 63 p4p, 434 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sidorov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sidorov's Heart. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Darren Hart enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart lands with a hook. Sidorov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Ivan Sidorov has been cut.

Sidorov tries to counter with a takedown but Hart is quick to defend against it.
Sidorov dives in for a single leg takedown but Hart sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
As Sidorov backs off Hart throws a huge counter combo but Sidorov manages to avoid it all.
Hart gets underhooks to prevent Sidorov's takedown attempt.
Sidorov tries to score a body lock takedown but Hart shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

We've been hearing reports that Sidorov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Sidorov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Hart looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hart can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hart really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sidorov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
