Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Fury (ranked 5185 p4p, 5101 weight class) and Ezekiel Landolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tommy Fury!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ezekiel Landolf!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury gets a clinch.
Fury tries to pull guard but Landolf holds him up against the cage and eventually Fury drops back down to his feet.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Landolf misses with a punch on the inside.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Landolf wants the takedown. Fury is fighting it off but Landolf persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Fury's guard against the cage.
Fury working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Landolf doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Fury is tightening it up a little... Landolf has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Landolf reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Landolf taps out! Nice BJJ there by Fury!
