The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes moves into the clinch.

Klippt gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Holmes regains guard.
Klippt pushing down on Holmes's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Holmes pushes Klippt off looking to stand but Klippt dives back in and keeps control.

Klippt is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Holmes sees it coming and defends easily.

Klippt drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Holmes dives on top into guard.
Holmes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Klippt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Holmes has managed to get both his arms back between Klippt's legs - danger averted.
Klippt pushes a forearm under Holmes's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Holmes is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
