And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Nikolai Magamedov!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Magamedov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fella manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Magamedov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The fight stays on the outside here - Magamedov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fella swats away the attempt to clinch by Magamedov.
Fella is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Magamedov.
Magamedov darts in and clinches Fella up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Magamedov is fighting off a takedown attempt but Fella is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Magamedov to the mat. Magamedov regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Fella (2) vs (0) Magamedov

Fella tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fella has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Fella content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Fella is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Magamedov is trying to escape and Fella transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Magamedov is forced to tap! Nice work there by Fella! Very nice indeed!
